Finding Healing After a Traumatic Experience
In this episode, I step away from my usual content to share a personal story—a traumatic experience that I’m still learning to deal with. My husband, who has been serving in Gaza since the recent conflict began, was home briefly for Yom Kippur when an accident happened. While working on our Sukkah, he fell from an 8-foot pergola and suffered a brain injury. This traumatic experience has weighed heavily on me, and I felt I couldn’t continue with regular content until I shared it. Talking about it was a necessary step in finding healing after a traumatic experience and a way to connect with my audience on a deeper level.
An Emotional Journey of Coping and Support
This journey has been incredibly challenging. The impact of my husband’s injury goes beyond his physical recovery. It has affected my well-being, mental health, and our marriage. It’s also affected my children. I’m currently seeking a therapist to help me process everything. This experience reminded me of how essential mental health support is. While sharing personal stories isn’t new for me, this one felt especially heavy. I needed to speak about it here as part of my healing process.
Thank You for Listening and Supporting My Healing
I’m grateful for the chance to use this platform to open up, even though this episode is different from my usual topics. It’s raw, emotional, and deeply meaningful as I work through it daily. Thank you for listening, for allowing me to share this part of my life, and for helping me find healing after such a traumatic experience. Your support means something to me I hope my story resonates with anyone who might also be facing difficult times.
